SYNOPSIS

In a time of prosperity and whole, happy families, Jeanne and her two sons are different. Without Jeanne's husband, who is missing in the Korean War, they are coping as best they can. But when they open their home to Jack and his scruffy but irresistible dog Betty Jane, Jeanne and her children discover the magic that comes with helping a stranger.
